FOOTZONING 1:0:1
More and more people today are realizing that our healthcare system is in crisis; some would
argue that it is completely broken or has strayed away from health and operates more as a “sick-
care” system. Because of this, people are seeking to return to or rediscover natural processes of
“health” care. They’re being pro-active about the health maintenance of themselves and their
families.
We must first understand that the body can heal itself. We must also recognize/acknowledge
that environmental toxins, bad food, stress’s etc all inhibit the body’s ability to correct the
disturbances. Footzonology (aka Zonebalance) is a method by which to assist the body in its
self-healing or regenerating process. Working the entire system brings all the body functions
into balance, promoting the healing properties our bodies follow. Working at the cellular level
brings the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual into balance.
In every session the entire body is treated. Skeletal, muscular, nervous system, lymphatic,
circulatory, all organs. Working thru the signal system in the feet, and thru the meridians or
energy lines, we can work at the cellular level to activate the cells to repair, restructure,
rejuvenate and renew ….because the body knows its original blueprint and the Zonebalance
provides opportunity for the body to work to return to that.
Many of the same questions come up when individual’s are looking into Footzoning/
Zonebalance as a potential modality they’d like to use as one of their tools in the healthcare
tool box.
You may find an answer to one of your questions below:
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What’s the difference between a foot massage and zoning?
A regular foot massage feels great and relaxing and may even inadvertently
release toxins or stimulate the body systems;
A “Footzoning” or “zone balance” session involves a deliberate, “mapped out”
process that ensures ALL body systems are addressed through the foot’s signal
system, giving the body opportunity to rejuvenate and repair itself as it has been
designed to do.
- How can zoning help me detox?
Footzoning uses the signal system in the feet to “communicate” with the entire
body, activating natural processes in all the systems, including the organs and
lymphatic systems that are responsible for waste removal. As every session is a
complete treatment, disturbances such as toxins aren’t just moved from one area
to another, but rather encouraged to move out through the body’s waste
removal processes.
- Does it help alleviate arthritis?
Arthritis is inflammation. When you get a complete Footzone or zone balance
session, your circulation and lymphatic system is stimulated which help reduce
inflammation. As all your systems are balanced to work together, the body can
fight the disturbances that are causing the inflammation. That being said, if the
individual does not alter what they eat and drink, then the inflammation battle
will be constant and relief will be short.
- How often do I need to do it?
When starting out, closer/more frequent the sessions allows the body to respond
quicker to remember the original “blueprint” held in our DNA code that enables
our cells to renew and repair. When you consider how much we’ve been
exposed to, be it environmental toxins, bad food/nutrition, emotional stresses,
and all other negative exposures since birth….well, our bodies need time to re-
set and respond positively. In other words, like any other pro-active health
modality, this is not a “magic pill” or a “one-and-done”. True, consistent change
patterns take time.
It’s recommended to have the first 5-7 sessions, spread out every 5-8 days to
really help “set” new patterns and begin to remove long-standing disturbances.
Many people feel immediate affects after the 1st session, like improved sleep,
increased energy, less anxiety, a feeling of “different…but good!” Everyone
responds at different rates, and their lifestyle habits play an important role in
that. When I first started having sessions, I felt, for my body, it worked well to
have the sessions about 6-7 days apart. After a couple of months, I moved to an
average of 2-3 times per month depending on what was going on in my life or
how I was feeling. Those that Footzone regularly begin to be very aware of what
they feel in their feet and just “know” when they need it.
- How long does it take?
The 1st session takes about an hour, sometimes a little more depending on how
much discussion occurs as we go through the treatment and come across areas
that we “feel” something. For example, I may come across a spot that causes me
to ask some questions of that corresponding body part, OR I may come across a
spot through the movements that causes you to say “ooh, that’s tender or sore”,
which we will then be discussing, etc etc.
After the first couple of sessions, the Cme will vary more between 40 minutes to
an hour depending on what we come across as we move through the treatment.
- Does it help with Anxiety?
Short answer : yes.
The whole of an individual is made up of four parts…………………………. Physical, Mental,
Emotional, and Spiritual. These four are, by God’s design, meant to work in
harmony with each other and therefore each directly affects the other. As zone
sessions are done, not only is the physical body addressed, but the entire system
begins to come into balance. Hormones are a good example: while we’re zoning
the signals for the physical part (thyroid, thymus, adrenals, etc) that control/
affect our hormones, then we are also addressing the emotional response that is
caused by our physical part. Anxiety, manifested in physical ailments, is what
initially brought me to find Footzoning. I sought a natural, non-prescription,
answer to some physical symptoms I was having, and ultimately I addressed and
remedied the deeper issue at hand — anxiety. Experiencing improvements in my
sleep, my thought processes, and my mood put me on the path that led me to
learn Footzoning so that others could have the same opportunities.
I hope that some of the answers above shed light on the many benefits of Footzoning, and that
you will consider making it a part of your health routine/lifestyle. I am available by
appointment at My Sweat Hut. (several Sweat Hut members benefit from scheduling a
FootZone prior to their sauna session)
